Pasifika Group Assembly

Pasifika Assembly

This term the Pasifika group learnt about the beautiful islands of Fiji and the Cook Islands. The group performed a Fijian Meke and a traditional Cook Island dance. The students were able to teach each other these dance moves and also add in their own Rowandale flavour. The Pasifika group are proud of  their cultures and even more proud to represent their school. They did a fantastic job!

ERO Assembly

The High Flyers within the Pasifika club performed to our special guest from ERO. They performed a Samoan siva (girls dance), faitaupati (slap dance) and a taualuga (boys and girls item). One of the ERO guest surprised everyone when she proudly took centre stage and performed along side the group.

Students:
Kalisi Laveti-Waqa, Levi Maui, Tatiana Ha'angana, Ronell Caffery
